Why does the install date say it is a Sunday, or show a forecast?

A date field says when the day is a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday before you save it, so a van is not booked for Thanksgiving by accident. A job with an address and an install date inside the next week shows the National Weather Service forecast for that day, judged against the film's working range: a high under 50 °F, more than a 40% chance of rain or wind over 25 mph flags the day.
